Dr. Trevor Shaw is originally from Millbrook New York, located in the scenic Hudson Valley where he was a multi-sport athlete throughout high school. He attended Springfield College in Massachusetts where he earned his undergraduate degree in Applied Exercise Science and later his NSCA – CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist) certification. After some brief work in the field of strength and conditioning Dr. Shaw decided to attended chiropractic school at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida campus. During this time Dr. Shaw also earned his brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while working as both a personal trainer and the head strength and conditioning coach at The Armory of Daytona Beach, a professional mixed martial arts facility.

Since Graduation Dr. Shaw has pursued advanced training in the areas of sports medicine, rehabilitation and strength and conditioning. Most recently Dr. Shaw earned his StrongFirst SFG level 1 Kettlebell Instructor certification. He is also certified as Selective Functional Movement Assessment Clinician, SFMA for short. SFMA represents a powerful paradigm shift in the diagnosis and treatment of movement related disorders and sports medicine rehabilitation.  He is currently pursuing diplomate status with the Chiropractic Board of Rehab Specialist and the International Society of Clinical Rehab Specialists. Dr. Shaw’s philosophy as a doctor is “Bridging the gap from Rehab to Performance”

When he is not seeing patients of training clients, Dr. Shaw enjoys his own training and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
